A little to sporty case: part 1

The smell of death hit my nose so quickly I held everything back just not to gag and stay professional. I walked deeper into the apartment, tugging on the plastic gloves. A flash of a camera caught my attention from the one room that extended from the main part. I look around seeing many trophies. Signed soccer shirts, soccer balls, even a poster of a Soccer player. I step into the bedroom seeing the crime scene. The room was pretty small a nightstand with a laptop attached to the wall. On the biggest wall were ribbons and even more trophies. Then the queen sized bed where the sheets were splattered with black and red thick ink like blood. With a girl laying on the bed as well, you say her shocked expression still in her eyes with haunting emptiness. The victim was a brunette, very fit looking. Her hair was in a very half pulled out ponytail. By the pile of her clothing she was a healthy fit person probably did some sort of sport.
I rolled my eyes at that. “Is this her apartment?” I ask my voice filling the room making my partner jump. Bailey was pretty bright and young for a cop. I always wondered why she would wanted a job like this. But I love my partner we are pretty good at what we do. Bailey took another picture before she replied. “Um... No her boyfriends....”
"Hmm Interesting.” I say as I exam the body. Just then Dr Walter walked in with his assistant Bill putting the lifeless thing in a body bag to test the body back at his lab. I breathe through my mouth the stench pretty awful now. I take once over again making sure I checked every detail. "Ready?" Bailey smiled a little too cheerfully at me. "Drinks on me, while we get back to the offices." She dug the keys out of her pocket after removing the blood stained gloves throwing them away. She put her camera in the back of our car and got in driver as I sat in shotgun.
